Nexus is an online folio of artwork and an art consultation service run by visual artists benefiting
both artists and art buyers alike.
Who we are.
We are a young, energetic couple who have worked for Melbourne based commercial galleries over the past five years acquiring sound industry experience. Both passionate visual artists ourselves we are now combining our skills in art and business to develop ‘Nexus’ into an innovative online art space.
Nexus presents a folio which creates a direct link between artist and client for mutual benefit. It was born from the observation that many existing gallery structures in Australia were rigid and difficult for some artists to work with. We recognized a need for an alternative and created a mode of presenting and selling art which was flexible, immediate and conducive to artists making a living from their practice.

Delivery.
Our pick- up and delivery service of artwork door to door is Zonal based and depending where you reside and your destination in Melbourne could be $45, $55, $65 flat fee for individual deliveries or a $100 for up to 10 paintings all within the Melbourne Metro.
Consultation.
As Art Consultants we offer friendly, honest and unpretentious advice about art, we can visit your home or office with paintings from an artist (or even another gallery for that matter) assisting with placement options if desired. We encourage you to try a piece in situ before you buy it to make sure it’s the right work for you and we deliver straight from an artist’s studio to your door.
When distance is an issue for you we can create virtual mock-ups. Send us a photo of your space, choose from our collection and we’ll drop the image in to the photo so that you have an idea of how an art work may complete your space. Please see our Interiors page. If you are seeking a specific work of art we also source pieces throughout the industry to provide you with the best option and price for your brief.
Our fee for onsite consultations and decoration advice is FREE for the first visit and $150 flat for every visit thereafter. We invite you to browse through our artist’s pages to see if something catches your eye and contact us using the details below with any enquiries.
