Penny Jensz is a rare breed of artist: both articulate and able. She employs her command of drawing and painting in the service of social insight. In doing so, Jensz offers us the opportunity to experience our own humanity and compassion afresh through the medium of art.

Her intent is that when an audience views her artwork, they validate it. She states: "the ideas and truths I wish to communicate are imbedded in my work. As a person privileged to have traveled, and living in a country which happens to be 'safe', I feel a strong desire to create work that shares the reality of others not so fortunate, who are without a voice."
