Julia Carter

Originally from England where she studied Sculpture and Literature, Julia Carter only returned to the Visual Arts, once arriving in Australia. She is now an award-winning Australian painter who lives and works in her studio in Queensland; hidden away amidst tranquil acreage from where she draws a great deal of her inspiration.

Julia’s work is of breathe-taking images of the traditional landscape, done in a contemporary manner. Her work explores the coincidental connections between the stunning natural environment and our everyday world. Bold colours, vibrant energy, and symbolism connect her work. Julia’s art celebrates the world in which she lives, conveying an overwhelming "joie de vivre" to every viewer.

Julia has exhibited in several Galleries and many art shows, and her works have been acquird by both Australian and International collectors.
