Penny Jensz
Throughout history artists have acted as a conscience for society. Penny Jensz is at once an artist, and a dedicated student of the human condition. She believes art can serve as "an important tool for re engaging an audience who have been desensitised by global media, and an insatiable appetite for entertainment".
Her work has evolved from postgraduate study in fine arts. Jensz has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication at RMIT and more recently a Graduate Diploma in Visual Art at the VCA. She was pre-selected for the 2005 Cromwells Art Prize and the Warrnambool Social Commentary Prize, and her work appeared in the Beijing Biennale. Over the last decade she has exhibited at manifold galleries throughout Australia. Her work is held in private and corporate collections within Australia and internationally.
