Nathan Jones
London born artist Nathan Jones shares with us a sneak preview of his anticipated forthcoming show ‘So whose shoes are whose?’
’This show started out in miniature as a pair of ‘postcard shoes’ for an exhibition in London, the Red shoes I depicted were a girlfriends, yet everyone saw Dorothy’s Red shoes from The Wizard of Oz.
It appears that images of shoes conjure up memories for women and men alike. Men takes notice of shoes that women wear and it’s not because we are always looking at legs, well it might be.
